Young promising forerunners

This year's Vitranc Cup forerunners include young up-and-coming boys who plan to compete in the World Cup in the future.

This year's forerunners are the Slovenians iga Zupan Orekovi, Miha Oserban, Jaka krjanc, Alen Hriberek, Miha Melihen, Joa mit and the British Zak Carrich-Smith.

We are also very happy to be working with the organisers of the Loka Cup, one of the largest international competitions for young people in Alpine skiing in the world. The Loka Cup is open to young skiers aged 12 to 16. This year, more than 200 young people from 22 countries from all over the world took part. Each year, the Vitranc Cup enables the fastest competitor in the giant slalom at the Loka Cup to compete as a forerunner at the World Cup in Kranjska Gora. This year, this special prize and honour went to Britain's Zak Carrick-Smith and Slovenia's Joa mit. The fastest two in our Mini Vitranc Cup, organised by the Kranjska Gora Alpine Ski Club, were also the forerunners in the Loka Cup. This year they were Zoja Stroj Skubic (Radovljica Alpine Ski Club) and Maks Franc Doler (rna Alpine Ski Club).
