Today and tomorrow the Podkoren racecourse will host the world's best giant slalom skiers.

Four Slovenians will also be at the start: an Kranjec (bib number 2), tefan Hadalin (44), Ane Gartner (62) and Rok Anoh (63).

an Kranjec is currently third (with 345 points) in the overall giant slalom standings, followed by Norway's Henrik Kristoffersen (with 440 points), who usually likes the Podkoren slope and excels on it. Last year he won both Vitranc Cup giant slaloms. The overall leader is Switzerland's Marco Odermatt (with 540 points), who was third twice in the Vitranc Cup last year.

The first run will take place at 9:30 and the second at 12:30.
