Test for Vitranc Cup passed

Vitranc cup race course tested with Golden Fox ladies world cup races.

The two races for the Golden Fox were a good test for the preparation of the course in conditions with practically no low temperatures to allow for technical snow. Our track preparation team, which also prepared the snow for the Golden Fox, worked hard firstly to secure the snow and secondly to keep the snow surface compact.

On Saturday's giant slalom, the rain did its job and sprinkled the snow base nicely and gave them a little extra firmness, but for Sunday's slalom the team had to remove about 20 cm of very wet snow from the competition course, thus providing a base on which the skier with the bib number 38 skied to 3rd place, which undoubtedly speaks in favour of the excellent preparation of the competition course, despite the extremely difficult conditions.

In Kranjska Gora we are now waiting for both a shipment of snow from the sky and colder temperatures to provide technical snow.
