Kranjska Gora to host Slovenia's biggest Après Ski during Vitranc Cup

Après Ski, as after-ski parties are called all over the world, where bouncy music and dancing, even in armour, are at home, usually takes place in bars, chalets and pubs in the immediate vicinity of the ski slopes. Slovenia's biggest Après Ski party will be the one in the centre of Kranjska Gora after the Vitranc Cup giant slalom on Saturday, featuring several well-known Slovenian bands, singers and musicians. The performers will be revealed in the coming week, but it is clear that Après Ski will also include a trophy ceremony for the best skiers of Saturday's giant slalom and a draw for the starting numbers for Sunday's slalom, making Slovenia's biggest Après Ski unique.

In addition to the Après Ski, there will also be spectacular entertainment at the World Cup venue under the Vitranská slope, where it is known that the internationally renowned Sas Avsenika Ensemble will perform their full repertoire on a special stage during the break between the two races.

The prestigious competition weekend will once again start on Friday 8 March with the memorial charity giant slalom race in memory of the late Drago Grubelnik and later with Rock'n'Roll for Gruba. On Saturday, the traditional giant slalom race will take place and on Sunday, after a two-year break, the slalom competition.
