Winner of the giant slalom for the 64th Vitranc Cup is Norway's Henrik Kristoffersen, who more than obviously feels great in Kranjska Gora. Second place went to Lucas Pinheiro Braathen of Brazil and third place to Marco Odermatt of Switzerland.

Žan Kranjec, the only Slovenian in the final, finished 16^th. Anže Gartner was 57^th and Miha Oserban failed to finish the first run.

Žan Kranjec's statement after the race: "I am disappointed with the result. I'm missing that little bit more. Of course, I wanted more today but the differences were small. I tried to attack, but I lacked a bit of speed. Now I have to reset my head and move on to the next races."
